I've been working at Alshaya for four years. I started as the Store Manager for Debenhams in Qatar, and then launched Debenhams stores in Dubai's Ibn Battuta mall and Mall of the Emirates. I was later given the responsibility of being the Operations Manager for Debenhams in Saudi Arabia and now I am the Senior Operations Manager for Debenhams and Mosaic based in the Kuwait headquarters.

I find Alshaya to be a very progressive company that is growing at a very fast rate. With the right attitude you will have a great career with Alshaya. There is ample opportunity to grow here. I've had the chance to work in different countries and to open new stores. Opening big stores takes a lot of effort and the accomplishment is rewarding. No other organisation gives you all this.

Living in Saudi Arabia was a good experience for me. The country is what you make of it. The money you can save over there is huge. I made a lot of good friends during my two years there. You have to make an effort, both in and outside the business and when you do it's rewarding. The best part is that people are genuine at all levels.
