School leavers, interns and graduates

We operate a number of programmes across our markets to train and upskill young people to prepare them for careers in retail, dining, leisure and hospitality.

The Alshaya Retail Academy, KSA

The Alshaya Retail Academy provides training and jobs in the retail sector to young Saudi women. With branches in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, many successful graduates of the Academy have gone on to become store managers and area managers within our fashion brands.

The Retail Management Programme (RMP)

The RMP operates in Kuwait and KSA, offering on-the-job training to Nationals to prepare them for a management career in retail. Each participant starts their journey as a Sales Associate, and after the successful completion of various modules, becomes an Assistant Store Manager ready to take the next step and run their own retail store. In KSA, this scheme includes Starbucks for male Saudi Nationals.

Recruitment for the scheme is ongoing. To find out more about the Programme please register your interest at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

IIT and IIM Interns

We have strong relationships with some of the top IIT and IIM schools in India. We take on interns from these schools to work within our retail brands or central support functions. Following a successful internship, candidates are offered full time roles to take up on completion of their studies.

The Kuwaiti Graduate Scheme

Unlike programmes offered by other retail businesses, which see graduates rotate roles within the company, our scheme allows participants to make a real business impact from day one. Kuwaitis on the programme take up full-time, permanent roles within their desired business area (merchandising, marketing, HR, etc.) and receive additional soft skills training and project work.

Recruitment for the scheme is ongoing. You can contact the Kuwait Nationalisation team at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.
